Christmas Trees, Leaves, & Toilets

Our Thanksgiving weekend is almost officially over. The tree is up and fully decorated, the mantle garland is in place, the Christmas tunes are going non-stop, and we have watched "Elf" twice already. We've done a little Christmas shopping and also spent some time yesterday at Bailey's scoping out some wedding bands. There's nothing better than wedding planning to keep you honest about your budget! I do have to say though that before we left the jewelry store, our salesgirl Kitty, started talking wedding gifts and then the next thing I knew Ty was over at the watch counter trying on $3000 Tag watches.....right........keep dreaming buddy ;)

This morning we did some MAJOR yard work. I have never hated leaves and acorns so much in my life. It was backbreaking. Can I go back to being a kid again when your job was to jump into the leaf piles? We contemplated going to the Cary Ice House for some public skating, but ended up at Lowes and then the Draft House for a bloody and an order of wings. We bought a variety of toilet parts at Lowes, things I never knew existed and at this very moment Ty is getting very intimate with our bathroom floor. The entire toilet is dismantled and spread all over the place.....gross! He is a better person than I :) And there you have it....pretty nice little weekend.
