Back to the grindstone-
Drive back from FL was uneventful and I just finished unpacking all my stuff. Simon was more than elated to have us back. He nudged between us and slept there most of the night until he decided to wedge himself between Ty's legs ( I think he likes Ty more than he fancies me :) I survived my first day back at work, although it seemed like a 48 hour shift. Started off today with a "recovery" massage and then decided to take my car in for an oil change and an alignment check. Boy I'm glad I did! Turns out 2 of my tires were busted with the rubber totally cracked and separating from the steel interior. The mechanic actually brought the old tires out to show me and it was only then did I understand and appreciate how bad off they were. He said I was really lucky. So I spent 4 hours waiting around and left with 4 new tires to the tune of almost $600. I had wanted to get more done today but having a safe vehicle is more important than reorganizing your closet! Ho hum.....4 days of work in a row starting tomorrow...gross.
