Easter
I have been quite sidetracked ever since I found out I won a lottery spot to Kona. I have been suffering from Ironman brain and need an Ironmanectomy. It's so very exciting but I have realized that if I keep obsessing about it that I am going to very quickly burn out. SO I have taken my obsession down a notch to a "serious phase" (no not "serious face Kristyn!) More on this later...

So mom & dad were down here for a long Easter weekend. We were very lucky to head up to Beech Mountain and stay at my friend Deirdre's house for 2 nights. Despite the rain, we had a great time touring ourselves around. Went up to Grandfather Mtn, went down into the Linville Caverns, drove on the Blue Ridge Pkwy. Trucked it back to Raleigh for a night (not w/o a stop to Replacements Ltd. though!) Easter Sunday we headed down to Pinehurst. Drove around and had the Tom Johnson "special" tour. Did you know the cottages down there all have names!? Spent the afternoon hanging out on the deck in the wonderful sunny weather and then tuned into NBC and the Kona lottery winners. You know where it goes from there. A LOT of screaming, jumping up and down, crying, and "Holy crap"!

Best dang Easter I have ever had.
