Inauguration Day & Snow Day!
What a cool day (literally) I was very fortunate to have the day off. Not only did Raleigh get about 5 inches of snow, but history was made. I spent the entire morning on the couch watching the Inauguration Day coverage while the snow continued to come down. Ty, being the brave soul he is, drove himself to work (only to come home early) I did volunteer myself to brush off his car at 6:30 in the morning. We were able to make it to the gym before they closed early and then spent an hour outside playing with Annie and strolling the neighborhood. Pretty much been glued to all the Obama coverage- such a defining moment in history. Makes me feel bad that I didn't like history all that much throughout my school years! In other news- I made a FABULOUS vegetarian lasagna (thanks to Kelly's recipe) Ty asked me, "Is this ricotta cheese?" "No, it's tofu." It was very easy and quick to make- and SO YUMMY :)
