Green Landfill?

Our neighborhood is built next to what used to be an old landfill (I know that sounds gross but you would never know that's what used to be there) . It was all grown over with very tall trees and was just a big wooded area. Recently we heard and then saw a lot of commotion going on over there, so we went exploring one afternoon only to find out that the city is clearing the area. We asked our neighbors what was going in (there has been a lot of growth in our area) Apparently the city is going to just grass it over and build a huge field (we are hoping for a dog park!). As you can see, Annie is getting big, and she loves the couch :)
