Lots going on down here. Carolina won over the weekend- GO HEELS! Oh my word I am really getting sucked in now ;) As you can see from the pictures- Ty has been in the yard these past two weekends- we now have over 60 bags of leaves- I think each bag holds 30 gallons- that's a lot of leaves- now we need them hauled off our property! We started receiving a few shower gifts and it has really hit us now that we are getting married- Erin and Jeff were the first to send us a gift and as you can see in my excitement I paraded around the house with the Crate and Barrel ribbon :) I am getting VERY excited to go home to the Cape and Boston a week from tomorrow for Joyce's shower and then our joint bachlorette party and then my shower- yeah! Hopefully it won't be 20 degrees when I go up there. Spring has been creeping in down here. Ty has started to have allergies and the trees are blooming- I love it. I have yet, knock on wood, to have allergies. Everyone tells me that after you have been down here for a few years you will start to get them. I hope not because I love being outside. Ty and I are very excited to be going to Charleston, SC in a little over 2 weeks for my co-workers wedding. It should be a blast since we are headed down there with our good friends Johnathon and Glorimar- ROAD TRIP! It will be beautiful down there and it has been one of the more local places we've been dying to visit. Should be a gorgeous wedding- it is being held on one of the plantations. Other than that I am on the edge of my seat until April 15th- no not tax day- (and it's also Mom's b-day) But I will find out if I got into the Hawaii Ironman. I know it;s out of my hands but I think I will cry if I get in and if I don't I think I may be slightly relieved and disappointed. My co-worker David who is an engineer turned nurse, he is an endurance runner and we have been talking about doing some training together starting in the late spring with a goal of running the Kiawah Marathon. My goal will be to qualify for the Boston Marathon if I don't make it into the IM. That means picking up the pace a bit and running 3:40 for the marathon. This has been a long term goal of mine dating back to high school. I know I can do it, but it will require some discipline. And already my plantar fascitis has been flaring up - need to get back on the massage and ice train :)
