Bun is overdue ...

Went to the OB on my "due date" which was Dec. 8th I was 80% effaced and 1 cm dilated. The previous week at my 39 week app't I was 60% effaced and 1 cm dilated. They tried to push me to schedule an induction, but I refused. Why opt for that when statistically induction leads to more intervention? I have had a completely normal and healthy pregnancy and would like to just let my body do what it needs to do when it is ready. I have gained about 27 pounds and look forward to shedding this weight!!
