Wedding/Travel Continued...
Off to Charleston, SC we went this past weekend for my co-worker's wedding. The Biltz/Clayton wedding was the most extravagant wedding I have ever been to in my life. It was amazing. What made it more amazing was the entire weekend trip was shared with our wonderful friends Johnathon and Glorimar. We drove down together and just took in the whole weekend in each other's company. It was constant laughter and good times the whole way....even at eleven o'clock at night while we were still in the car on the way back to Raleigh. Lisa and Will, (Lisa is my co-worker) , got married on an old plantation. The scenery was spectacular and the grounds were filled with beautiful gardens. There was also a lot of wildlife milling about, INCLUDING alligators!! Unfortunately it did rain for their ceremony, so they had to get married indoors, instead of under a very old and historical oak tree. Nonetheless it was wonderful. We spent most of yesterday actually walking around Charleston and of course sampling some very yummy seafood and margaritas....and made a stop at Wet Willy's....the weather was perfect- sunny with a nice breeze and I got some nice color on my shoulders. We were sad to leave and joked about how we would need to take anti-depressants this week. But we left with some wonderful memories that will be with us for a lifetime. I will post some pics later- I ended up just shy of 200 photos this past weekend so there are lots to choose from!
