Why are the weekends so short??

Just a couple pics from one of NC State's farms that we run by (2 miles from our house on our way to Umstead Park) The rest of the pics are Umstead and all the fungi we discovered this weekend while on a walk with Annie. Beautiful weather down here- had a great 13 mile run this AM. If all the stars are aligned in Dec for our marathon I am hoping to run close to Boston qualifying time...but we'll see. Saturday was the Ironman World Championships in HI. I spent most of Sat. evening watching it live online. It never ceases to amaze me how fast those pros are and how awesome the event is. I knew a few people racing and all made it to the line in time! I am going to enter the lottery for next year...maybe one day I will be lucky enough to go!
