Sox weekend!
We had a great weekend up in Boston. Our friends down here hooked us up with Sox tix for Saturday and Sunday's games- Sox got the win both games! We tried to pack in as much as possible while up there and I would say we did a good job! Flew in Friday night-Scott picked us up and we caught up with Kev & Linds over drinks. Saturday morning we got up at the crack of dawn and made our way down to the Charles for what was supposed to be our long run of the week but we only made it about 7.5 miles- still it was great to be back running along that Dirty Water :) After our run we cruised over to Winthrop- (thanks Scott for letting us use the XTerra ALL weekend) :) - we joined Joyce,Frank, Heidi, and Brian aboard Ballycroy for a great afternoon of sailing- we even caught a bluefish! The weather held out and we had a great time! Sunday I was able to catch up with Shans & Woj for some shopping and lunch at the Pru! We ended the day over beers at the Cask & Flagon (no trip to Fenway is complete w/o a visit to the Cask) where we watched the Pats win. Awesome weekend with friends! Now we are home and I am on night shift AGAIN. UUgh. We are hoping to adopt these puppies in the next week or so and are focusing on our marathon training. I have some work projects that I am slowly thinking about. Other than that I guess we are facing reality that summer is over...it's actually pretty cool down here today.....great weather for a 14 miler...check out the video I posted....Ty the sailor :) Catch y'all later...
