Farmhouse Red

Being the multi-tasker that I am; I am blogging while watching Grey's Anatomy...talk about talent huh!? It is important to keep up on all the tv medical drama and check out McDreamy ;) We actually have a "McDreamy" at work, but the CT ICU lacks all the drama that Grey's carries.

So Ty and I have gotten pretty good at painting this past year. We have done our dining room and living room and now we are tackling the bonus room. The bonus room is currently vacant except for my couch and the cat's litter box. Oh and there is a desk in there too. Since Tommy has moved out we haven't done much with the room, but we do have plans of making it into a 2nd living area (ie place to watch tv and keep my bike) But it will also serve as a 2nd guest room for when we have all of our friends visit us (hint hint people!! Jet Blue $200 round trip direct from Boston!!)

Anyway, Ty and I havea lot of fun painting and feel a nice sense of accomplishment for tackling the job ourselves. Tonight we had the rock/alternative radio station on and we had some 80's flashbacks singing to some Bon Jovi and Poison. Then Ty proceeded to tell me how he had a mega-makeout session in the 8th grade to the song "Every Rose Has Its Thorn" Ggggrrrreeeeaaaaattttttt. Seeing as how I was attending Trinity School of Cape Cod during the 8th grade it's safe to say I was not making out with anyone :)

As you can see from the pictures Simon tried to get involved in the painting. He was very disturbed by it all and I;m not sure why. He didn't really react when we painted the other rooms but maybe he is mad b/c his litter box got moved. Who knows. But he was staring us down the whole time...maybe he's plotting against us :)

All I know is that right now the Red Sox are ahead and I must get back to the game and my very important medical shows :)
